Caregiver Provider Celebrates First Anniversary of New Ownership
A Special Message From The President, Jennifer Dain
This year has flown by so quickly. I can't believe Caregiver Provider is already celebrating our First Anniversary!
When I made the decision to embark on this new path, I was hoping to make an impact on people's lives. To help them be safe, comfortable and well cared for as they age at home or recover from an illness or injury. But I never dreamed working with our clients would have such an impact on me.
Over the past year, we have had the privilege of working with so many wonderful families and sincerely appreciate each opportunity to provide care for their children, parents, or grandparents. My time with each client has formed a bond that makes us all feel like part of a very special family.
I have been fortunate for the opportunity to work with outstanding local hospice providers, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, and long-term care insurance providers. The trust in these relationships is strengthened by our shared goal to provide referred clients with quality, cost-effective options for home care.
We've endured through the sad times when a client has passed away, but take solace in knowing we were able to help them remain comfortable and comforted during their transition, and provide support to the surviving family members. We have also shared in the joyous times when our clients recover from an event and no longer need our services. Although it may sound contrary to "business", I am genuinely happiest when a client no longer needs us because we have helped them to recover.
I want to express my appreciation to each and every one of our caregivers - they are the heart of this company. The calling to be a caregiver is a special one and is a true blessing to our clients and their families. Thank you to our caregivers for always being there!
I also want to thank Melinda, my right hand and problem solver. I am deeply grateful for your willingness to do whatever is necessary, your continued support, great ideas, and hard work.
Of course, I could not do any of this without the support of my husband, Dave. He has been my cheerleader and champion from the beginning. He encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and take on this new challenge; never complaining about the late night (and early morning) phone calls, the interruptions to dinners and weekends. Thank you for your support, Dave - it means everything to me.
Finally, I want to thank our client's for allowing us to be part of their lives at a difficult time. We honor the trust you have placed in us and will continue to be the caregivers you can turn to when you or your loved one needs home care assistance.
